Product Testing- How to start and What sites work #producttesting #product #tester

I stumbled upon product testing randomly one day while looking on the net and I started joining sites and looking for more and better ones. So I wanted to make a post here to help others know which one I know work and what kind of things you can receive. #1 choices usually have the most frequent opportunities as well.

Product Reviews (full product no need to return)

#1 Tomoson- Tomoson.com

This site is by far the best site to receive and test products. It has a variety of sellers and products that can be for any type of reviewer. Most promotions are filled through amazon so they do prefer/recommend you have Amazon Prime so you will not have to pay shipping. The majority of the promotions are free or a small % of the cost of the item. Items I have received are pills, cream, charging blocks, cases, Bluetooth speakers, balaclava/shemaghs aka mask items, fitness gear, art supplies, headphones, and other items. It will be a little more work than a few other sites but you get to try and review a lot of items and often. It also has a messaging system built into the site. Also there is new promotions almost daily.

Requirements:
(A blog or Amazon account is the minimum, up to Facebook, instagram, twitter, google+, youtube, blog, amazon and linkedin)
There is a variety of requirements to get accepted/invited for a promotion and this is set by the seller and not the site. Most Common requirements is having 100 facebook and 100 twitter friends. Although it can be as easy as making a blog post on your blog all the way to make a post on facebook, twitter, linkedin, youtube video, blog post, and amazon review. It will depend on the requirements of each promotion which are posted before you apply. Some will have larger follower/friend requirements but that is also posted ahead of time.

#2 Amazing Deals Group- http://amazingdealsgroup.com#sthash.MyTSGfOy.cmfs

This site is a large discount product review site. You can at max be reviewing 2 items at a time. Everything on here is usually 1-3 dollars instead of their full price. This is because the seller is offering them to you at this discounted price for your honest review on Amazon.com. It is recommended but not required you have Amazon Prime so you will not have to pay for shipping. There is usally about 8-12 promotions available at a all times. Electronics, beauty items and gadgets seem to be the most common items you can receive.

Requirements:
Leave a review on amazon.com

#3 BZZ Agent- http://u.bzz.com/lha7g

This site is survey intensive at the beginning so they can figure out what you qualify for. Once they get an idea if you are the right type of tester for on of the products they will send you an invitation to participate. They will ship to your house and set up a variety of things you can do to review/recommend the items you are trying. A lot of the items you will get through them are new to the market or about to come out so its like early adopting. A lot of the things they deal with are gr
This is ongoing for now I will keep adding.

Requirements:
None

Beta-Testing (Get compensated with gift cards or products)

#1 Betabound http://www.betabound.com/ Betabound (formerly Centercode) has a lot of beta testing opportunities for apps, software, electronics, websites, even cell phones. This site is like the main page for all the opportunities, when you get invited for an opportunity you usually end up in a different site than theirs (don't be alarmed its still them but they seem to have set up personal sites for each company like GoPro, ZTE, Netgear etc). I have participated in about 4-6 projects off of this site its awesome but you have to realize a lot of the things are beta products and you will have to sign and adhere to non-disclosure agreements. Compensation is pretty good, and dealing with new products especially technology is awesome.

Sample sites:

#1 Swaggable- https://swaggable.com/
If you like samples this is probably the one you want it is not as hard or as time consuming as the others and you do have high chances of getting picked to test things out.

Smiley360- https://smiley.socialmedialink.com/home
A lot of surveys not enough invites/promotions waste of time in my opinion

Influenster- https://www.influenster.com/
It makes you fill out a lot of information and tries to get you to put reviews for things you already own to get you accepted into a campaign. Social media intensive and dependent. I tried 1 campaign with them but it was hard to complete and so much work to get a sample.

Other sites
ExpoTV- http://www.expotv.com/
It is legit but doesn't do too much offers and you have to do video reviews. I do not think its worth your time and effort especially since it looks like its dying.

HomeProductTesting- http://homeproducttesting.org/
It is a discount product testing site mostly. It is simple to set up and use, but it is up to the seller to contact you arbitrarily if you want to get their product.

Giveaway Service- https://www.giveawayservice.com/
This site seems like tomoson in a lot of ways but I have not been able to be approved for any promotions yet so I cannot say if it works or not.

Toluna- https://us.toluna.com/
This is has so many surveys to fill out and you get points which seem like a lot but you cannot actually get almost anything for them except entries into their random drawings and they say they have some samples to give out for reviews but I never got anything. Way too much time investing on surveys.

Pinecone- Pinecone Research – USA
This site use to have a good reputation for rewards and product testing but for the months I used them it was just huge surveys that you got nearly any points for and never any opportunities to test anything.

I am currently testing other sites and opportunities and I will keep this updated feel free to comment or add more links.
