X-Shade Power Inverter review

X-Shade Power Inverter review

I received this inverter in exchange for my honest unbiased review.
So what comes with the product. You will receive the power inverter with two power attachments.  The first is a 12V car lighter cord and a battery clip set. It also has a USB port which nowadays is almost essential for everyone. The unit is easy to transport, move around and it does not need to be bolted down like other inverters. It is about the size of an iPhone6 cell phone. It's relatively light,  but still structurally strong. It is loud for anyone unfamiliar with inverter,  this is due to the cooling fan which you want and need so I don't feel it's a big deal.
The first thing to be made aware of is that the cigarette power feed is not as strong as directly connecting it to the battery with the clips. This should be common sense.

I mention this because there will mostly be two types of consumers: the first is an everyday person who needs a way to get power for emergencies and small items like phones and other technological devices while the other is someone who is basically trying to replace a large generator for this smaller low power (relatively) inverter. If you are the latter I warn you this is not a generator and may not power or not as quickly power really high demand power tools. Although I did not have any problems powering my drill from the inverter. Be aware this is going to be running from a battery and it does come with various safety features that regulate and throttle it's output.

Based on my use and others testimony I feel that like the advertisement says it is great for emergencies, camping, and simple everyday use.  The only ambiguous part is the consistent power claim which is subject to interpretation by consumers who will have different ideas. I feel it is a consistent power source for medium and low demand items and would not recommend as a replacement for a generator for high powered items like power tools (which sometimes even use so much electricity that the short out homes from wall outlets so I don't hold this against the inverter). To counter a lot of claims though I tested and recorded me trying the drill from the inverter and I didn't get any lag or low power problems. I think that the price point is appropriate for this product and it will be a good purchase for someone needing an inverter.
